A DETECTOR FOR OPTICAL CODE-DIVISION MULTIPLE-ACCESS SYSTEM WITH CO-CHANNEL INTERFERENCE CANCELLATION
Michal Poľaško
Code-division multiple-access (CDMA) is a multiplexing scheme
which is particularly attractive for fiber-optic communication
systems where a broad bandwidth is available. This paper
considers the problem of demodulation in optical synchronous CDMA
system. Simulation results of a multiuser detector with
co-channel interference are presented.
It is shown that such a detector can provide lower bit error
probability than the conventional correlation detector when
exact knowledge of interfering users is available.
