EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION OF STACKED CIRCULAR MICROSTRIP PATCH ANTENNAS

Stacked circular patch configuration was used to obtain a larger
input impedance bandwidth. The influence of the spacing
between the driven and parasitic patch on the input impedance
was experimentally investigated. A line transformer was used
for input impedance matching. Radiation pattern measurements
confirmed good radiation properties and low cross-polarization
levels.
