COMPLEX MODULUS FORMALISM IN THE ANALYSIS OF DIELECTRIC RELAXATION MEASUREMENTS

   The complex modulus and the complex permittivity are compared under the assumption that the Cole-Cole equation is valid for a dielectric system. A relationship is derived which allows to evaluate the processes with long relaxation times by the frequency response of the dielectric at relatively high frequencies. The analysis of the model is confirmed by typical experimental results.
