DEVELOPMENT OF DATABASE APPLICATIONS USING NON-PROCEDURAL APPROACH

   This paper describes a new original designed method of increasing the efficiency of database applications development using a non-procedural description language and non-procedural recomputations. This method allows to express the semantics of applications at a table level. The result is elimination of semantics splitting across the application programs and therefore a reduced number of programmer's errors. The proposed solution has not only a theoretical importance but allows to develop a usable system with characteristics which can solve some today's problems in database applications development.
