A CMOS/GaAs DCFL COMPARATIVE SURVEY BASED UPON CUSTOM DESIGNED MULTIPLIER GENERATORS

   This paper deals with the custom design of multiplier generators respectively targeting Silicon and GaAs technologies. This study gives the opportunity to compare CMOS and DCFL (Direct Coupled Fet Logic) logic through a real life example. Results in term of delay, area and power consumption are fully commented and highlights what can really be expected from GaAs DCFL.
