MAGNETIC INDUCTION IN THE VICINITY OF CURVED CONDUCTORS
Daniel Mayer - Svatopluk Zachariáš
In the paper the magnetic field of a thin conductor whose
shape is a general space curve is investigated. It starts
from the Biot-Savart Law, approximating the shape of the
real conductor either by a helix or by a cubic spline. The
method can be applied to a cable network as well, eg to a
three-core cable.
Keywords: calculation of the spatial magnetic field, application of the Biot-Savart Law, magnetic field of power networks.
