THE TRANSPORT PROPERTIES OF BASALT

   The paper shows the possibility to utilize the measurement of direct current (dc) conductivity and complex permittivity for determination of the transport and relaxation mechanisms in basalt. The mentioned physical parameters in dependence on temperature up to 600°C were studied. Analysing the gained temperature dependences of the measured physical parameters the temperature 280°C was found out as the limit where the all defects are free.
