DSP-REAL TIME CONTROL USING NONPARAMETRIC MODEL

In this paper we describe an implementation of the
nonparametric predictive controller. Nonparametric model
is obtained from the impulse response of the process. From
the predicted output, we calculate the current value of
the manipulated variable. Signal processor TMS320C40
was used to achieve the appropriate performance of the
algorithm. The use of our algorithm provides the means of
controlling processes with time constants of about 1 ms.
