RADIATION OF ANTENNA ARRAYS WITH GENERALLY ORIENTED DIPOLES

Štefan Beník - Peter Hajach

The aim of this article is to show the possibilities of shaping the radiation pattern in two-element antenna arrays which are generally oriented in space. Presently solved and used antenna arrays contain elements (dipoles) which are oriented in the same way. The authors present the solution of a radiation pattern oriented in z axis direction.
It is clear that the solution of the radiation pattern of the dipole can not be used for the solution of a antenna array with non-specifically oriented dipoles. In this case there are presented dipole solutions with a tilt angle situated in y-z plane and x-z plane.

Keywords: antenna arrays, radiation pattern, dipole
