MODELLING OF A SWITCHED RELUCTANCE MOTOR IN DYNAMICAL PERFORMANCE
Duc Le Quang - Želmíra Ferkova
The paper deals with modelling of the switched reluctance motor
(SRM). The SRM has different numbers of stator and rotor poles.
Mathematical model of SRM is described by a set of partial differential
equations which are best solved by numerical methods. The non-linear
function y=f(J, i),
(y - flux linkage, J - angle,
i- current) is applied by a date table. The function
y=f(J, i)is created by the spline functions. Finally, the calculated values are
compared with those measured on a switched reluctance motor, which was
available at the Department of Electrical Drives.
