ON CIRCULAR ELASTIC AND VISCOELASTIC VON KÁRMÁN PLATES

   We shall deal with the system of von Kármán equations describing great deflections of thin plates. We shall concentrate on elastic and viscoelastic circular plates with radial symmetric behaviour enabling us to lower the dimension and the order of the derivatives appearing in the systems describing the deflection and the stress function of the plate.
