SOFTWARE FOR MICROWAVE DEVICE MODELS IDENTIFICATION

In order to improve and accelerate the microelectronic device models
identification, the S-parameter simulation software - SOPT was developed.
It uses an unconventional but effective method for the simulation of
S-parameters. This method allows to calculate S-parameters related to the real
as well as complex reference impedances, which can be different on each port of
the simulated circuit. The simulated circuit is optional, given by an input text
file. The SOPT software includes effective optimization routines for
identification of the equivalent circuits from S-parameter measurements of a
given device, measured in a wide frequency range.
