PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT OF AN UNCONVENTIONAL GENERATION SYSTEM OPERATING IN PARALLEL WITH A LARGE SCALE NETWORK

   This paper describes a limited size unconventional generation system (UGS) consisting of photovoltaic (PV) panels, wind electric conversion systems (WECS), MHD electrical power generator (MHDG) and battery energy system (BES). The produced energy from the UGS is directly injected to the local grid or transmitted to the interconnected system (IS). The main objective of this paper is to find an approach to performance assessment of such UGS.
