STATE CONTROL OF UNITY-POWER-FACTOR CONVERTERS
Ladislav Zboray
The paper presents two schemes of unity-power-factor converters
with state control. A single-phase boost converter keeps a constant
average value of the output voltage during means variation,
whereby the load current is estimated. A three-phase rectifier is
described by a nonlinear state equation in a rotating reference
frame and ensures power balance between its ac and dc sides.
Simulation results confirm correctness of the designed control.
