SCIENTIFIC EDUCATION IN MEASUREMENT IN SLOVAKIA

   This article offers a brief overview of individual phases of scientific education in the area of measurement, which has an irreplaceable role during the development and smooth operation of everyday life of the country and its pivotal spheres - production and business. Just like all the other areas of life, this area has also witnessed over the eight years of the transformation period a rather contradictional development.
    In accordance with changing regulations and laws applied in scientific education in Slovakia [] the form of scientific education in the field of measurement has been changing as well.
