ANALYSIS OF STATIONARY TEMPERATURE FIELDS IN MULTILAYER LTCC STRUCTURES

A complex method of the stationary temperature field identification
in a multilayer hybrid Low Temperature Cofired Ceramic (LTCC) structure
has been presented. This procedure includes computer simulation of the
temperature field and its experimental verification.
Different configurations and mutual placement of heat sources in
the microcircuit have been taken into account in simulation process.
Laboratory verification of the computer simulation is based on point
measurements with use of thick-film precision thermo-elements
and an infrared radiation detection method. The verified
inaccuracy of the stationary temperature field simulation is
less than 10%.
