PREDICTABILITY OF CHAOTIC SIGNALS

   One of the important properties of the chaotic signals is their limited predictability. In this paper the known generation mechanism of chaos is used as a predictor but using the perturbed signal as an input. A mean prediction gain function and mean time of predictability are proposed for description of chaotic signals. The mentioned tools are tested using chaotic signals generated by Chua's circuits.
