SINGLE PHASE MEASUREMENT OF THREE-PHASE TRANSFORMER CORE POWER LOSSES

   The power losses in three-phase transformer core can be measured in standard Y or D connection by three phase measuring system. The new method based on two-phase power supply and single phase measuring device has been developed and successfully tested. The active power find from product of two magnetising currents with the voltage induced in the third pillar voltage give the proper results after correction depending on the ratio of mean magnetic path lengths.
