PRESSURE AND TRACTIVE STRESS IN GAS FILLED CAVITY IN INSULATIONDURING PARTIAL DISCHARGE ACTIVITY

The paper deals with the analysis of mechanical stress and the shape
deformation of the gas filed cavities in high voltage liquid-insulation
medium (oil) in combined paper-oil insulation. It takes into consideration
the electro-physical phenomena occurring in high electric fields during the
partial discharge activity in the defective areas of the insulation.
