MODIFICATION OF BLOCK CIPHER IDEA

   This paper describes the modification of block cipher IDEA to 128 bits block size using operations ⊙, [+] and ⊕ over 32 bits subblocks. [+] and ⊕ are group operations, but ⊙ is not, because 2³²+1 is not a prime. Some properties of modified cipher are demonstrated.
