THE FIELD-HARMONIC THEORY OF A SYNCHRONOUS INDUCTION MACHINE

   A field-harmonic theory of a three phase induction machine with wound rotor fed by a direct current is presented in the paper. The theory takes into account currents of all frequencies which arise in stator and rotor windings as a result of a non-harmonic distribution of the air gap magnetic field.
