The (Ni0.3Zn0.7)1-xBexFe2O4 ferrites where Be2+ ionic content was changed from x = 0.05 up to 0.5 have been synthesised by the ceramic method and annealed at 1250°C for 6 hours. Samples were characterised by means of X-ray diffraction, Mössbauer spectroscopy and temperature dependences of magnetic susceptibility χ(T). With increasing of Be2+ ionic content, the Curie temperature TC firstly increased up to x = 0.25 and then decreased; for x ≥ 0.4 TC increased again. The increase of Be2+ ionic content tends to reduce the size of particles, thus influencing the susceptibility determined mainly by the particle size.
