WIRELESS MAGNETIC FIELD SENSOR

   A passive and wireless magnetic field sensor system based on the giant magnetoimpedance effect and surface acoustic wave technology is presented. First results show a sensitivity in the μT range and a bandwidth of 1.7 MHz. The application for remote nondestructive testing is proposed.
