IMPROVING THE LINEARITY OF AN ANALOG VOLTAGE-TO-PERIOD CONVERTER
Mojmír Kollár
One type of a simple analog voltage-to-period converter is modified and its
features are analyzed with aim to improve the linearity of its
characteristic namely in upper part of working-frequency range. It is shown
that reinforced current injection by overcompensating the feedback divider
improves its performance. Analytical solution of the circuit
allows effective simulation in order to optimize the converter
characteristic.
