MODELING AND IDENTIFICATION OF HYSTERESIS USING SPECIAL FORMS OF THE COLEMAN-HODGDON MODEL

A simple approach to modeling and identification of hysteretic systems using the Coleman-Hodgdon model is presented. Two forms of
model are introduced for symmetric and asymmetric hysteresis based on special piecewise linear 'material functions'. For the
model parameter identification an iterative approach with internal variable estimation is proposed. Illustrative examples are
included.
