DESIGN OF PID CONTROLLERS FOR DELAYED MIMO PLANTS USING MOMENTS BASED APPROACH

This paper deals with the design and the optimization of robust PID controllers
for delayed Multi-Inputs Multi-Outputs (MIMO) plants using moments approach.
This methodology is based on a reference model used to specify both time and
frequency closed loop requirements. The PID controller is obtained after a Non
Linear Optimization procedure minimizing a quadratic cost between the reference
model frequency moments and the closed loop ones.
